Welcome to the Angling Club Meran

The Angling Club Meran was founded in 1909. Since then the association has taken care of the fishing and the natural management of its waters. The waters of the club extend geographically from the upper Vinschgau Valley in the west of South Tyrol to Meran. They include the Adige River from the Haidersee-Lake to Töll near Meran including its numerous tributaries and the Vernagt lake in the Schnals Valley. In addition the Passer from Saltaus in the Passeier Valley to Meran. In summary, a variety of alpine lakes, mountain streams and the main river of South Tyrol. In some of these waters fishing is deliberately prohibited because there is bred South Tyrol's indigenous salmonid, the marbled trout.

It is possible to purchase a day permit for many waters and to fish graylings, brown trouts, rainbow trouts and marbled trouts. In addition to the rules of the South Tyrolean Fishing Law, we apply other rules to conserve and promote fish stocks in their natural composition. In our website you will find all the important information for a successful fishing in our waters.

We are happy to welcome passionate anglers who, like us, live their passion in harmony with nature.
