From the origin to the retention barrier of Schluderns: spinner with barbless single hook, artificial bait fish on the lead head system with single hook without barb, fly fishing with a maximum of 2 artificial flies.
From the retention barrier of Schluderns to the confluence in the Puni Stream: fly fishing with a maximum of 2 artificial flies without barbs. The use of jigs (leadhead nymphs) and streamers is not permitted. Weighting the leader of any kind is also prohibited.

The maximum number of fish caught per fishing trip must not exceed 4 units of which only one brown trout. After the fourth catch the fishing trip is over.
For those in possession of the annual permit Vinschgay Vallei or Upper Vinschgau Valley, a fishing trip per week is allowed.
